Senior Fellows' Club

Open to Fellows and Members of the College, across all disciplines, who have retired from substantive practice, the Senior Fellows' Club is a vibrant and valued part of the College life.

What is the club?

The Senior Fellows' Club (SFC) was established in 1976 as the College Seniors Club.

It is open to Fellows and Members of the College, across its disciplines, who have retired from substantive practice. Retired Fellows or Members of the other UK medical and surgical Colleges are also welcome to join.

Membership is currently free of charge.

Meetings

The SFC meets in the College on seven afternoons each session, monthly from October to April.

The meetings are centred on a programme of lecture presentations on a wide range of topics, all delivered by club members.

Four of the lectures are preceded by a very reasonably-priced drinks reception and lunch, the others being followed by coffee and tea.

Attend in person or online

All meetings take the form of hybrid events.

The in-person element being supplemented by webinar transmission of the lectures which enables retired College Fellows and Members to be part of the SFC from their own homes anywhere in the world.
